Aguilar is an American company that designs and manufactures bass guitar amps, cabs, preamps, pickups and effects pedals. Their focus is to deliver products with inspired engineering for real musicians.
When I checked out the Tone Hammer 500 amps, I was amazed at the power coming out of such a light weight box. Under 2 Kg’s!

The latest effects pedals from Vox are the ‘Tone Garage’ range. This new series is comprised of five effects units that feature all-analog circuitry. The Flat 4 Boost, the V8 Distortion, and the Straight 6 Drive all feature a carefully-matched, high voltage VOX 12AX7 tube. The Flat 4 Boost also incorporates a passive Baxandall EQ circuit. These three pedals also take advantage of VOX’s newly developed Hi-Volt technology and provide not only the warm tone expected from a tube but also the all important feel and dynamics.
